Wireframing a delivery app for hipsters

HipstersEats is an app that allows hipsters in select cities to order food for delivery from their favorite restaurants. The app captures the essence of what it is like to be a hipster, connecting with friends in the most elegant and ironic way possible while delivering the highest level of implicit understanding, community, authenticity, and tasty bites.

 PERSONA

Hipster (n.): Idiot, usually found in already-gentrifying urban enclaves

—someone with way too much free time’s way of reducing actual real and working people into a look to be copied and codified by the masses.

EXPLORE

Visitors are able to find food by cuisine, location, what’s trending and not trending that night, and restaurant name.

COLLECTIBLES

Visitors can community-chatter about food, music, drinks and any hipster-related topics.

ANY NEXT STEPS?

Oh, absolutely. HipsterEats was an assigned project in a UX/UI Design graduate course at MICA. Students were asked to deliver wireframes only to allow for a deep dive into an app’s skeletal framework. For the next phase, I plan to build out the UI and produce a fully fledged out hipster-central app.
